On behalf of our partner airline, Jet Airways, we are pleased to accept expressions of interest for Direct Entry Boeing B737NG Captain vacancies.
Jet Airways is an Indian airline based in Mumbai. It is the second largest airline in India. Jet Airways operates over 300 flights daily to 68 destinations worldwide from its main hub at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (Mumbai) and secondary hubs at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Chennai International Airport, Indira Gandhi International Airport, Kempegowda International Airport and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport.
The Jet Airways fleet consists of over 110 aircraft including the ATR72, A330, B737NG and the B777ER.
Jet Airways offers a commuting roster of 8 weeks on, 2 weeks off. Commuting travel is provided on Jet Airways, plus interline sector reimbursement to a set limit.
- Valid B737NG type rating
- Minimum 6,000 hours total time
- Minimum 2,500 hours PIC
- Minimum 500 hours PIC on type
- Maximum age of 64
- Valid ATPL
- Valid First Class Medical
- No history of incidents or accidents
- No criminal record
- ICAO English Level 4 or above
Roster Options 8 weeks on/2 weeks off
Contract Term 3 years renewable
Payment Currency USD, net of Indian tax
Monthly Hours 80 hours

Stage 1 – Application & Airline Screening
Complete and submit a Jet Airways Application form. Jet Airways will screen your application and advise Flightdeck of the outcome of the screening process.
Stage 2 – Document submission
The following documentation is required for licence verification and security clearance:
1 A colour copy the information pages of your Passport
2 A colour copy of all pages of your Class 1 Medical Certificate
3 A copy of your valid ATPL License
4 A complete security clearance form
Stage 3 – Remote Video Interview
Conducted by the Jet Airways management team. The Flightdeck team will assist you in preparing for this interview.
Stage 4 – Simulator Check & Medical Assessment
The Jet Airways simulator assessment takes place in one of several locations, dependant on aircraft type. The medical screening occurs over two days in Mumbai. Jet Airways will organise and pay for flights and accommodation for this stage of the process.
Stage 5 – Security Clearance
Security clearance takes 4-5 weeks from submission of documents (Stage 2). Employment is offered subject to security clearance.
